Where it all began

Before The Feelings Committee was printed on a tee, it was a name floating around a group of friends in Joshua Tree.

There was food on the grill, music playing, conversations around the fire, and nights that stretched into sunrise. Somewhere in there, the name came up. I had no idea how much it would come to mean to me.

Over time, it came to stand for something I valued in those friendships: showing up as you are. Having people in your corner you can laugh with, open up to, and ask for help. Even when finding the words feels uncomfortable.

A couple years later, I put it on a tee.

Some designs carry a piece of that story. Others come from surfing, places I love, or something a friend said that stuck with me. And some? I just thought they’d make a really cool shirt. There’s room for all of it.

I wanted the clothes to feel as good as the idea behind them. We make our tees and terry shorts in small batches in Los Angeles, using organic cotton and working with local makers. Soft, easy pieces you’ll keep reaching for.

Maybe a phrase means something to you. Maybe you just like the tee. Either way, I’m glad you’re here.
